Job Description

Reputable HOA litigation law firm is someone who can independently manage litigation support duties, handle discovery, prepare court filings, and assist with trial preparation in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Senior Managing Partner and litigation team with day-to-day case management.
  • Prepare, organize, track, and compile litigation documents.
  • Draft and assist with pleadings and court filings.
  • Manage all phases of discovery, including:
    • Responding to discovery requests
    • Propounding discovery
  • Prepare responses to complaints and discovery requests.
  • E-file documents in California state courts.
  • Maintain litigation calendars, monitor court deadlines, and track appearances.
  • Assist with trial preparation, including exhibits and trial binders.
  • Collaborate with existing support staff and provide overflow litigation support as needed.

Top Qualifications

  1. 2-3+ years of full-cycle litigation experience
  2. Strong discovery experience, including both responding and propounding discovery
  3. Experience preparing pleadings and managing litigation documents

Ideal Candidate

  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Able to work independently while supporting a high-volume litigation practice.
  • Comfortable managing multiple deadlines and priorities.
  • Experienced with court filing procedures, calendaring, and trial preparation.
  • Prior law firm litigation support experience required; HOA law experience is a plus.
